Just had my first root canal a few days ago. Prior to the procedure I was pain free. With the anesthesia, I was fine during the procedure, but after the anesthesia wore off, It was quite painful. Not a myth at all.

This is not a dental myth. It was so painful during and after

I had two root canals done. It started hurting both times halfway through the prosigure. I could start the feel the drilling. But the doctor gave me a shot directly on the roots and one at the roof of my mouth. After that I felt nothing at all
