The combination of a wooden frame and dry straw creates a solid wall that is soundproof and insulated. This is a very interesting creation of yours. I really appreciate what you are doing. Please try to preserve it. Health, Wishing you success always be with you.❤❤❤❤❤

Beautiful, the slate roof is amazing. Question though: with all the material you anyway had to buy, would some higher-densitiy, flame-retardant eco insulation really have made such a difference? Keeping fingers crossed that you don't get a family of mice moving into your wall cavities...

Литва? :) Двойной каркас, стойки Ларсена. Сено вместо опилок или минваты - это неплохо. Главное защитить от мышей и огня.

What were the boards used externally to the straw? A good shot was at 3:30. Some sort of foam?

I have a dream to build a house on footage 9x15m (approx 120m’2) using straw bale technology. Movie gives impression that the design is well developed. Do you have some suggestions - where it is valuable to get the knowledge / project about such kind of house?

The ignorance in the comments selection is terrifying!
Everyone, please do in your straw bale research before commenting.

I like the compression methods shown.
If you have not COMPLETELY sealed the inside with a vapor proofing method, moisure WILL get into the walls, and may not escape. I would recommend large overhangs, and using a dehumidifier inside to keep moisture levels
Seems you did not make efforts to provide a way to let moisture escape on the outside walls (no air space between straw and plywood there a way for moisture to escape from the roof bales?

Looks good, but very pricey, and possibly destined to fail, without continual
Best wishes, let us know if you handled the moisture problem in a way that you did not show.

Nice cabin but seems very labour intensive and costly for a small cabin
