Can other Unifi Cameras send this camera a detection notice, so it can turn to that other cameras location and start tracking movement?

Not sure if I missed it, but I heard from another review that it will auto-zoom on detections as it tracks them. Is this something you found as if so I think that's a bit of a game changer when it comes to placement and usability?

I am really happy to see this lower end PTZ Camera come into the line up. The G4 PTZ is a beast of a camera, bit way overkill for prosumer / small business use. Knowing what Ubiquiti have been doing lately, if the G5 PTZ sells well, they will likely do other units with higher specs. I kind of wish it had 3x optical zoom instead of 2x though.
I am going to be a little pedantic here, but I always have to have a little laugh when people name the company as Unifi or thank Unifi for sending .... Unifi is the product line, Ubiquiti is the company. Just happesn Unifi is one of their well known lines.

How loud is the turret when it moves? Will it distract people in an office setting?

I've had Ubiquity equipment for some time meshing my property, and I really think that a camera this size should be able to double as a WIFI access point since you need to run the POE+ cable.

Does the G5z have patrolling? Where it cycles through all the presets?

Thanks for the video! When you do the inside/outside video for the G5 PTZ, can you speak to how loud it is when it's tracking/moving around? Is it loud enough that someone would notice when it's moving?

Can this PTZ be configured to "patrol" if set to always recording? EG, you set it to move between different waypoints on a schedule?

Could two persons use a decoy approach to defeat this? One guy triggers the camera to follow him around the corner while his partner comes out of hiding and does whatever he wants while the camera is occupied? Obviously a second camera would help, but only if Protect uses the detection from the second camera to cause the PTZ camera to turn to locate the second person.

Thanks, Clay for another thorough review. One thing I'm curious about that you didn't mention was how loud the camera was when it pans and tilts. Is the sound noticeable from a distance? Or noticeable when you're next to the camera? Is there any noise from the panning that is picked up on the camera's microphone?

Thanks for the report. What happens if 2 people are detected and they go in 2 different directions? Does it then randomly follow only one person or does it stay in the home position? Greetings from Germany
