Anno 1800 is a city building real-time strategy video game, developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft, and is set to be launched within April 2019.

It is the seventh game in the Anno series, and returns to the use of a historical setting following the last two titles, Anno 2070 and Anno 2205, taking place during the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century.

Following the previous installment, the game returns to the series' traditional city-building and ocean combat mechanics, but introduces new aspects of gameplay, such as tourism, "blue-printing", and the effects of industrialisation influences on island inhabitants.

I have to admit I never installed any Mods in this game. Not because I wouldn't be able to do this, but because the game in the original version is already complex. And with the official DLCs it became over time more and more complex. IMHO any user should play this game first in the original version. It will take time to learn all the aspects. And then with the DLCs, one by one, it takes time to learn all the new aspects. It's like having a Ferrari and thinking about ways to make it faster. Learn to use the original product first - at least IMHO. Thanks Nivarias for all your great videos!

I just watched your other helpful video a few days ago I believe and this one with the mods will be helpful too! I am playing without mods atm, because it's all new to me and I'm afraid I would be overwhelmed. If I continue good thru this run, I'm going for the mods. Some of them anyway! Perhaps I'm over thinking this, not having modded Anno 1800 before, but the mechanics of how to do it is simple enough but are you aware if the mods you list still work as expected with the latest 14.3 game updates..? Sometimes when I read the comments from some of the noted mods in this list they suggest that some of them no longer work..?
For example "Spice It Up" in the comments the latest suggest that multiple parts of the mod no longer work with the 14.3 update.

Do you have any thoughts on that, perhaps they are not compatible..?

Is this list still relevant for the modded game you play today..?

Thanks for the recommendations! I got spice it up but now all buildings are available right from the start. I don't want that and I can't figure out which part of spice it up is causing this.. does anyone know?
