When i bought my Nox 800 around three years ago i found your vid on simple settings . I’ve never changed and I’ve found loads of finds from coins buttons a couple of rings buckets musket balls and so much more . So you can keep it simple to find things just a tip for new detectorists . But would i like the DEUS 11 you bet i would . Love the video keep them coming.

Great video and looks a good machine.
wondering what center of coil is like over a coin on edge, most detectors struggle and can have quite a large dead area when going over profile of coin but are always good in other direction.
equinox has a 2 inch dead spot, deus 1 and simplex even larger.
never seen this test done so might make a good video.

Great video Sid - I dunno what your day job is but you'd make a really good teacher.
I'm a Nox 800 user and I find it will often initially give a good tone to alert me to a target, even some iron, then as I do more swings to check it seems to make its mind up and home in on a bad tone or a good tone. It's kind of annoying because it's constantly stopping me and making me double check bad targets that initially sound good. Having watched a load of Deus II videos I get the impression it knows from the first sweep whether the target is good or not and gives a clear audio decision straight away. Does that make any sense from your experience of both machines?

I am impressed with your results - although as we know it all depends on conditions on the day, and whether you walk over the target in the right way. One question - the neat little lanyard you use to hold the control box on - did you make that or is it an accessory?
