A big flaw in AAs arguments is each of the leaders he uses as examples didn't attain power by themselves. They did so because they had a following who believed in the ideology or cause said leader promoted.

The more accurate take, AA, is that power + ideology shapes the world around you. You can have an ideology but without power it is useless. And it is impossible to have power without an ideology.

Given that AA isn't in power we can safely ignore the ideology put forth in this segment. But if he were in power then, as evidenced by this segment, it really wouldn't matter what his ideology was as it would justify his position in power regardless of its content.

I have always said that the details would come in time. Haggling about them creates purity spirals and infighting in which we simply don't have the "luxury" of partaking at this point.
