The Trick to Sounding Good in Head Voice

How do we do this? Easier said than done. Your exercises do magic that only would happen when I practice. I believe you but I don’t understand this.

Can you give examples of what this means? It doesn't help to know what my vocal chords are doing and if I'm doing it right or not without an example on how to do it.

I don't know where else to ask this. I had a case of bronchitis. Now that I have gotten over it, when I laugh or cough this rattling sound like I am dying comes out. It hasn't effected my singing.

I have been to my Primary Care Doctor, an ENT, a Pullmanologist. The response from the specialists has been "I don't see anything that requires surgery." My Primary sent me to the specialists as she did not know what the cause or treatment was.

The only cool thing that came out of it was when I went to the ENT. The doctor scoped me and I got to see my vocal folds on the monitor. I was told to say. "ah", I sang it. I got to see my vocal folds producing the tone. I think I sang a B 2 It was enlightening to actually see what we talk about! .

My question is this, could my vocal folds be making this rattling sound? Could they be very loosely flapping together. I can actually make the sound at will. Nevertheless, I want to get rid of it at least when I laugh or cough (allergies)

Yes, but the challenge is to elongate your chords because you can’t see them and cannot control them without making a certain sound

But thinking about your Vocal Folds is not very helpful. Because an inexperienced Singer may push them...
