I started to play guitar and sax in Ryans bar in Derby where James would attend the open mic.. By this time his friend and guitar teacher Kev Andrews had taken him to Warner Bro and his career took off. A brilliant musician and song writer. who has a fear that one day he will wake up and find it was all a dream and he's still cleaning cars in Derby. Sadly his wife who came from my council house estate died and it will take a long time to get over this. Im glad I played in the same bar as he did as well as on the same London Stage and we all hope that one day he will again write and perform amazing songs that touched our hearts
