"Some terrain is easily passable, in some you get hung up, some makes for a standoff, some is narrow, some is steep, some is wide open. When both sides can come and go, the terrain is- STOP ATTACKING INTO THE FUCKING MOUNTAINS WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

Sono passati poco più di 100 anni. Ma ogni volta che incontro un austriaco sento un impeto infernale che mi assale. Fossi vissuto in quel periodo mi sarei divertito alla grande.

This fails to show that over 1/3rd of the Central powers army during the battle of Caporetto was German (7 German Divisions and 13 Austro-Hungarian ones), meanwhile it shows a US flag on the Italian side despite the Americans only had a regiment, France and the UK sent 2 and 3 divisions respectively and yet they're not shown.

Fun fact : that big push in 1917 was because of the battle of caporetto and there was at that time a small german general named erwin rommel who managed to defeat the italian with a small army due to a surprise attack and not respecting the orders

While we see a pretty stable front, there are tens of thousands dying, and those who survive a lot of them will never be the same

I knew it would've been released! Keep this great work!

Small error: where are the german soldiers in caporetto?

All the people who died in wars would have had a beautiful life, family and dreams, but all of this was destroyed by the greed of the leaders.

In Italy we still use the word "Caporetto" to indicate something gone relly bad in whatever context.

Honor to all the fallen but if you studied history you would understand that 1, after the defense on the Piave, Italy made a counter-offensive which brought it inside Austrian territory, taking hundreds of thousands of prisoners and 2 that during this war the Germans helped a lot the Austrians did more with weapons and men than the English or French did with Italy. This is history, and fighting at 3000 meters or more is not the easiest thing in the world so inform yourself that the Italian soldiers and all the army genius did a great job, despite the backward mentality and tactics of their generals

My grandma was from Aquileia, Udine. My grandpa from Napoli. Both arrived at Argentina circa 1920 from a devastated Italy. Sadly, the growing economy Argentina was at that time is now in worse conditions than the country where she emigrated from and me, in Europe right now...

You see that big push in 1917? It was the cause of a small German military leader, Erwin Rommel known more from WW2 than from WW1.

Erwin Rommel had an army of couple hundred German men, not much but he made 10 000 Italians think that he had more and made them to Surrender and cuz Rommel wasnt too large of a treat there wasnt many men in the area where he was

And now Rommel was a treat since he could encircle the Italians so they had to go back

Took me pretty time to write this but it also took you pretty long to read this
