Yes once you break into a new book you cannot stop reading! It’s always nice relaxing down with a good book and cuppa tea

‘The Kite Runner’ is a great book that really helped to re-kickstart my love of reading. sad and triggering in parts, but an amazing and inspiring storyline, written very accessibly !

I’d love to hear about your favourite Irish authors and reads as an Irish born but Canadian raised

The hearts invisible furies was the single best piece of fiction I've ever read! It's one of the few books I still think about almost daily and I finished it over a year ago. I recommend it to every one, especially if you're Irish.

Ok I def needed this - I had been wanting to start reading recently & grabbed a book that's close to 500 pages. I am doing my best with it but it's a bit slow & easy/shorter reads would definitely inspire me to keep it up! So much better for my mind before bed than binging TikTok 💕

I’m not sure if you are looking for any recommendations at the moment but last year I read: Educated by Tara Westover, The vanishing half by Brit Bennett, Crying in H-mart by Michelle Zauner, Everything I never told you by Celeste Ng- really recommend this one, I’ve re-read it 3 times.

Immediately I love the chocolate brown hair, it looks super healthy and I wish you weren’t worrying about it! You are beautiful! Every time you post it’s like a little boost of sunshine for me. You really are my comfort person right now and this giveaway is so wholesome. I only hope one day you create your own book or poetry collection, as an English lit student you are so inspiring ! I want to come to Ireland for one of your shows soon, would be a dream to meet you. Thanks for being a wonderful girly xxxx

Maybe not the easiest of reads as it includes time jumps etc but A Ghost in the Throat by Doireann Ní Ghríofa is so beautifully written! I read it in about 2 days and it really reconnected me with my love for reading ❤️

Love this video ! Highly recommend Open water by Caleb Azumah Nelson, What a shame by Abigail Bergstrom (somewhat unlikeable main character), any book by Joan didion (all are quite short) and The dangers of smoking in Bed by Mariana Enríquez !!! 💗
