I really liked this point. To paraphrase: Focus on giving your best effort in doing anything, and don't worrying whether or not the outcome will imply anything about who you are. Your failure or success in any task and who you are, are two separate things.

I feels like Ryan Holiday's books kinda have a superpower. After reading "the obstacle is the way", even before practicing the ideas in my life, I see many changes in my life, especially in my mind. After reading "Ego Is The Enemy", I feel the same way. And now, I get a chance to watch incredible video on that. Thanks, mate. Wish you all the best

The G in the thumbnail? Legendary. The comic book artwork? Legendary. Ali out here looking like a whole snack while sharing his insights on checking our egos is a whole mood and then some.

When you have a lot of something the value of just 1 of those things seems comparatively small.

This applies to subscribers as a metric. I think it's important to remember that each subscriber is a unique person - and to have 2 million of these individual personalities tuning in regularly to a single person is beyond incredible.

Great video, thank you.

Love how there's a "focus on the journey rather than the destination" aspect to most of the things you talk about.

The tip about negative visualisation really resonated with me. I think that’s what it takes to get me to hustle a lot more than positive visualisation. The latter puts me in a calm and relaxed mood and I do less. Great tip! Thank you 😊

I agree that negative visualization can be a great tool, but I think that it is very important to acknowledge its downsides too. Negative visualization when taken too far is basically catastrophization, which is an important symptom of anxiety, which frankly is a productivity killer.
