As the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program marked its 30th anniversary, the Office of HIV/AIDS Housing (OHH) took the time to look at the current best practices in the field, needed changes in strategies to mark changes in the epidemic and available treatments, and models to meet the current needs of people living with HIV/AIDS. The 3R Strategy (Reset, Renew, Recharge) is a forward-looking blueprint for advancing program design and core values that will positively impact the lives and housing stability of people living with HIV/AIDS.

The Client-Centered Practice Series offered grantees and project sponsors strategies to incorporate client-centered components in their respective HOPWA programs, including Housing First, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and low-barrier housing.
