I’d also add for the newbies that even if people do attack your caravan you should stick with it. I thought I lost one once when I got attacked by a 4-man group while trying to sneak a solo run in early in the morning.
I rezzed at my home node and started doing a mining run.

Someone whispered me to ask if I was coming back and it turns out that a massive group looking to PvP just decided to defend my caravan before it got destroyed

I couldn’t make it back in time but I would’ve very easily made it had I just stuck with it.

It might be worth mentioning that the AoC discord and in game community is stating road/water speed for wheels is disabled across the board. I think general speed is the only active stat right now for those parts and the 10% general speed buff that citizens of nodes get for that zone/node.

As far as I understand, the wheels and the Beast of Burden influence the speed. Is the speed limited to the lowest value? Is there an average?
Example: I have a Beast of Burden with a speed rating of 75 and wheels with an 85. What speed rating does the caravan then have?
And my second question: Are the general and water speed ratings directly comparable? So, is a Beast of Burden on land with a general speed rating of 100 exactly as fast as a Beast of Burden with a water speed rating of 100 in the water?

what happen to the commodities once sold in another node? are they aviable to be bought by players from the npc vendors of that node? so economy resources are geo localized? Thanks for the video!

I see something bigger as a threat in terms of the economy in the game. We can all see that there are many many different ways to make gold in AoC but the pace that the gold is gained I don’t think that it gets spent also in a similar pace. Because for example when you craft an item you just pay the materials in order to craft it. After you use it you can sell it on the market and this same process is most likely to occur multiple times because the item is not totally destroyed unless you sell it to a vendor or you died while you were red tagged plus nobody collected your item. Also the fact that theres always going to be gathered new materials and new items get crafted. This is also the same case for the mounts. However I believe that they will soon change the animal husbandry system. Its not that hard to foresee that supply would overweight the demand that will come from the new players. If this issue would not be solved, any gear would be sold almost the same price that it could be sold to an Npc. Although that would also not solve the issue that everything just lose it gold value more and more. I know this is mostly the case for all Mmo’s but AoC is just built different and they may solve it with just adding an extra element that makes you spend or lose money to somewhere but a real player. Because if money could be made from literally nothing, it should also be gone for nothing almost with the same pace.
