I’m not paranoid.

I just am hyper aware of my surroundings and how people behave so I’m constantly on my toes, always moving. Can’t let em catch me, I will slip through even the tightness corner to get out of an awkward or uncomfortable conversation of my coworkers

That’s the challenge with a very high processing power mind that runs on objective logic first and foremost; as soon as one runs out of pleasant matters to think deeply on at a given moment, the worries of potential dangers other seem oblivious to and the matter of existentialism begins to take hold.

Like a little voice in the back of one’s mind asking “but what if there IS something in the dark, even though you locked all the doors and windows and live in an apartment stories above the ground, what about some entity from beyond this realm just around the corner at the end of the hall, or at the foot of the stairs, or under the bed, or behind the shower curtain…”

It’s not fun.

So eventually I stopped giving a damn when it came to that particular paranoia, and just stated to the abyss that if anyone or anything out there wished to join me for tea, they were more than welcome to, and exactly that occurred one night in a dream.
