I didn't noticed this then, I just noticed it now. When Britta said "you should kiss me." it mirrors the line Annie said to Jeff in their last scene in Community s06, "you should kiss me goodbye or you'll regret this for the rest of your life". Jeff changed because he seized the day and now a changed man. Wow. Great callback Harmon.

This, although at first it seemed like a great way to start the series and jeff/britta, demonstrated how lame the two were meant to be, never it contrasts the relation vetween jeff/annie. Yeah i know the age gap, but jeff never saw annie as a target of empty lust, just the opposite.
