Mine was not broken. But, the back side was dirty. Cleaned it and working fine now. Keept me from buying a new microwave. Thanks!

I replaced the waveguide, and it's still sparking. What Elsa can it be ?

I just took mine out, flipped it, put it back in, and it started working again

That is not a wave guide that is a mica plate, the wave guide is part of of the chassis that directs microwaves from the magnetron, if your microwave is doing that. 95% of the time the frame is damaged do to the sparking and cannot be repaired even if the magnetron is replaced, best the replace the whole unit for cost effectiveness.

Well it's too late for me it's now broken 2 bulges one on the inside where food goes and inside the magnetron
