Lol reading the NT, it's audience is the people of God, the congregated people of God, not the world, not lost people. Now sure there are warnings to the wicked and the lost within the addresses to the people of God, if anything so that God's proclaimers have a correct view and proclaim what's been written. In general the Bible's audience is the people of God and even the subject of the Bible is God and His people, other ppl get brought in Only as they interact with those 2 main subjects. It's plain as day.

Anyone else besides me and Dr. White use the NASB77? Anyone?

Don’t you ever get tired of dealing with Leighton. His sloppiness and lack of scholarly work ethic just irritate me. I can’t believe he has a doctorate degree. It’s embarrassing or as the kids say today, it’s cringe.

But why is faith considered a work?
Isn't it that what is needed for God to save us by grace?

It's funny how Dr White is unaware of his assumptions. He claims that saving grace is a teaching grace. He assumes that the "teaching" here is effective and whoever is "taught" will "learn". On top of that he inserts his assumption that the unregenerate cannot "hear" into the text.

Again, he also assumes that Jesus giving himself for those who will be taught through Grace implies particular redemption as opposed to provision for all who will respond to the teaching of grace. It could be either, depending on how one understands the "teaching" work. I.e whether it is resistible or irresistible.

He has a point about revelation 22:21 though.

Would the all be those to whom it was written to, chapter 1:1;4 to the seven churches? Revelation 22:16, is the all the “churches?

couldn't Flowers be in radical reformation tradition? I do not know enough about all forms of the radical reformation to know for sure. Some o the radical reformation were not Christian while others were. Or could he be part of the post Reformation Weslyian tradition although he rejects arminianism. But his views seems to be in line with some lines of Arminianism. or at least very close to that. I am reformed. I just think he might be in a different tradition than just the RC tradition.

Instead of doing videos back and forth, I think it would be much better to get together and have an informal chat first, and then possibly an open discussion

Funny that the way you show Revelation 22:21 doesn’t really mean what he thinks it means is by casting doubt on the manuscript evidence for the book of Revelation…

Provisionism = woke Marxism.
Provisionist theologian = some guy who read something about Christianity online.
Provisionist professor = Marxist who got a grant to defeat racism.
Ex-Calvinist = had a Bar-mitzvah at 13.

Since those who adhere to unitarianism and the freewill nonsense *haven't read The scriptures through*, they shouldn't be addressed as having done so. It perpetuates the confusion of both sides being *learned* and yet arriving to different conclusions.

When your only hermeneutic is, disproving a belief system in all of scripture you will be as imbalanced and wrong as Leighton.
