So, to answer the question "If I turn invisible would people still my shadow?"

It depends. There are two types of invisibility: The kind where everything reflects in such a way that it confuses the eye, therefore rendering the object unsee-able, or the type were you just aren't seen (impossible as of yet, as far as I know). The first one you have a shadow cause light is still reflecting off of an object, the second would not have a shadow because...well...You would have to be in such a form that you were a colorless gas or just at a highly reduced state of material being if not just not material (made of matter).
