Alejandro Carreras and Gabri Mtnez visited Morocco in September 2021 mainly to rescue animals trapped in human structures and roads.
They could see several monitors, lizards, skinks, foxes, hedgehogs, birds, amphibians... and 101 snakes of several species including Naja haje, Bitis arietans, Daboia mauritanica, Cerastes vipera, Cerastes cerastes, Vipera monticola, Telescopus tripolitanus, Lytorhynchus diadema, Hemorrhois hippocrepis, Hemorrhois algirus, Spalerosophis dolichospilus, Rhagerhis moilensis, Psammophis schokari, Malpolon monspessulanus, Boaedon fuliginosus, Macroprotodon brevis, Natrix maura and dead specimens of Dasypeltis sahelensis and Echis pyramidum.
