In the first episode of this new video series, I talk about the basic layout of a multimeter, the different electrical properties it can measure, and an example of how to measure different things using the multimeter. After watching this video you should have a basic understanding of this useful tool.

New videos are uploaded on Fridays!

If you are watching this video chances are that you have a lot of creative ideas and you like making things. I know what it's like to have a great idea but also feel overwhelmed by not knowing where to start. My goal with byte sized is to give you the knowledge, inspiration, and confidence to make those ideas a reality.

Keep in mind that he didn't mention: 1) Never attempt to measure continuity (or resistance) on a live circuit, e.g. power is applied; 2) Never inadvertently (or intentionally) switch your meter to a "ma" scale when your test leads are connected to measure voltage. You will immediately blow a fuse; 3)The same is true if you're connected to measure AC voltage but have your meter set to measure 10A current. You will blow a fuse; 5) When measuring an outlet, or AC Voltage over 30 VAC, always connect one test lead first then remove your hand (if possible) from that test lead, then connect the second test lead using only one hand. This will insure that if something goes wrong and you receive a shock it will not pass through your upper body and heart.

Some great information!!
I wish you would make a video or video series on how to build a actively heated enclosure for a 3D printer.
