The guy playing Gorsche actually did a good job. You can feel that hatred for his character in the comment section. Means he did a great job as an actor!

i love the Friendship/Personal Scenes between Chief Boden, Severide and Casey . Specially that Boat Scene in this Clip, they Way he tells them that Story about Gorsch . Its like a Father tells his Sons a Story about his Past . And in this Version The Chief is the " Father" and Severide and Casey are the "Sons".

Why yes, because by the time 'by-the-book' methods would have worked the victim would have suffered such severe burns and further electrocution that recovery would not have been possible. Honestly I hate people who are always by-the-book even in life and death situations. While it is safer, it's not the best route to save someone's life.

Gorsch is a liability to firehouse 51, his first infraction being talking down to Severride on his rescue tactics. Any good superior knows to never question another officer’s tactics as long as the mission is completed to optimum results, those results being that the fire is out and the body count is minimal. Severride is not just a firefighter, he’s a warrior who trusts his instincts as much as his training, which makes him one of the good ones

Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, especially when that horse is literally twice your size and ten times your competence
