I remember 2 years ago getting a 3D printer and having no idea what I was getting into. The entire hobby changed so much since then.

I couldn't pass up the price tag on the new A1 Combo and bought one for Xmas. My first Bambu printer. I squeezed on a Spidey 2099 helmet (with size increase) and I must say I am impressed with the result. Thank you for the review on the A1. I appreciate the content and info on this video. I will definitely use this video/link as a reference when I explain to friends and coworkers who are interested in maybe getting into the hobby. Thank you LM.

Keep up the good work! I recently found your channel and I like the format that you have between you two. I got my first 3d printer in 2017 (a mono price select mini) and now I’m looking for a new machine. Even though I like to tinker with my other gadgets and stuff, I am looking at the full size A1 for the multicolor and the simplicity. I don’t know much about Temu other than a few ads on YouTube that came across as a little scammy, but if you can find some useful 3d printers or parts on there then I am not opposed to them sponsoring a video and seeing how the audience reacts. Happy New Year to you and your family, looking forward to your content in 2024!

Really good point about keeping filament in mind when budgeting. Bump a bit more than you might think because you'll inevitably see something and go "ooooh I really like that color".

Do you have any recommendations on a printer if i almost exclusively plan to print with super flexible filaments? Main use will be for flexible inserts to go inside softcover books that I am leather binding. Trying to stay under 1k for now. Thank you!

the twotrees Bluer+ is currently about $170 its 300x300x400 and prints awesome, the only thing I recommend is to replace the Z axis couplers the thing is fully loaded. 0.9 degree stepper motors, dual z axis, belt tensioner, auto leveling 9 point pei sheet, magnetic build plate dual fan cooling, runout sensor BMG Dual gear extruder. its not very fast out of the box but it is one hell of a work horse. I have run about 70 kg through it. it uses an MSK board too I think

Great Vid again. how many hours have you got on your qidi plus 3 ? I've been looking at this one more and more as I want to print the engineering grade materials. not many reviews out there after 6mths or so. only new users. Curious what your thoughts are on it.

Hi, looking to print out sci fi models (12" to 24" long) Space 1999 eagle, or Galactica Viper etc. Print out in pieces and glue together. Which level should I be looking at?

would really appreciate your thoughts on your preference between a Artillery Sidewinder X3 Pro and a Sidewinder SW-X2. they are currently at the same price point. my first printer purchase and my thinking is if i can get a larger building platform right from the start, will the quality of printing be relatively the same. Thanks

I can’t recognize the printer sitting between your X1 and the raise 3d, right behind you. What printer would that be?

I just bought a bambu lab P1S because I wanted to print and not tinker with the printer. I just work flawless and I can concentrate on designing stuff on onshape. I know it is a pretty expensive first printer but it just works.

Hi, in the last few weeks, I've been searching for content on YouTube to help me choose my first 3D printer, and I wanted to tell you that in my opinion, your videos are among the best out there, so thank you very much! In particular, you convinced me to go for a Sidewinder X3 Pro. However, I noticed on their website that the pre-order for the X4 Pro was available at a great price (269$). Despite the lack of reviews and opinions on YouTube, I went ahead and pre-ordered it. Do you think I made the right choice, or should I have played it safe and stuck with the X3 Pro? Thank you so much for your content, I hope your channel grows big. I think the quality of your videos is much higher than that of other channels with many more subscribers!
