I started flyfishing a few years ago and just fully perfected my casting, so now I'm researching more about why different flies work while I wait for my next fishing trip >:D

I was squeamish around bugs most of my life. Then, within 2 weeks of my first time flyfishing, I was completely cured. Tom is right, you don’t need to know entomology to flyfish, but the sport does open up a whole new appreciation for the entire ecosystem.

Great video 👍 I live in Scotland and fish using a 4 weight rod with 4 pound leader line, catching fish 1/2 pound- 3pound. What rod and line do you use ? Thanks for the very informative video 👍

Hello Tom, habemos muchos latinos viendo tus vídeos, creo que a todos los que no tenemos mucha fluidez, nos encantaría poder leerte en español. Sería un gran paso para nuestra comunicación y las de tus anunciantes.

I’ve had a lot of success fishing spinners during the hatch. Anyone have any idea why?
