Thanks you for your comments! I do my best to keep up with them for the first few days after a video comes out, but due to the volume of comments on all of my videos, and to the general hustle and bustle of life, I must give up the fight after a while. If you are leaving a question four or more days after a video comes out I can't guarantee I'll see it, but perhaps one of my other viewers knows the answer and can help out. Thanks in advance to those who contribute and share their knowledge. Cheers and stay safe everyone!

It's far from over. The CEO and board who are intent on destroying the brand are still in place.

There was a new boycott? Everyone except Boomers have been boycotting Harley's since the 90's. No one wants to ride a bike made by a clothing company or Cosplay as a outlaw leather daddy.

Dear Mr. Spokes, I remember when Truman ran against Dewey. I have been in a couple military conflicts. Iv'e been all over the political spectrum. Been riding bikes for sixty three years. I must say for a young fella, you have the correct thoughts in your head. Let us all be kind to each other. Thank you for your young wisdom.

It's not over until "we the people " say it is!

It was not an issue until they made it an issue. They made a wind and now are reaping the whirlwind. No company should take such a divisive stand to take it upon themselves to change folks attitudes or beliefs. Harley riders took that as a personal slap in the face.

Not one mentioned that the CEO is going to close the Kansas City plant and start building Harleys in Thailand, then importing them back into the US stealing American jobs. This CEO and the board has to go. I speak as a lifelong Harley Davidson owner and a proud American.

I'm disappointed that Harley backed down so quickly. I was enjoying this controversy. As I read these comments though, I do wonder how many of the posts are from people who actually ride Harley Davidsons. Harley might be misguided to think that the social media posts that they are upset about, truly reflect the sentiments of the Harley Davidson community.

Fact is we didn't have to search for information. Harley executives decided to identify with an ideology that we do not support and doing so, right or wrong, associated Harley riders with that group.

The letter Harley issued was dripping with passive-aggressive disdain for it's customers. They tried to minimize the incident by referring to it as a "recent online controversy" and how they were "sad" about all the "negativity." They did not specifically mention any of their woke policies or initiatives that they planned to abandon or why. They did promise to focus on motorcycle stuff in the future. But it was hardly a "we read you loud and clear and look forward to earning back your business" type of message. Felt more like the kind of begrudging admission of guilt you would get from a surly teenager after they are caught red-handed doing something wrong.

It's not done until the CEO and the other true believers on the Board have been relieved

I'm Gen X and a lifelong, year-round rider who's only mode of transport has been a big twin cruiser for well over 30+ years. The sad truth is that we do live in a deeply divided world. I've never owned a Harley because of the bad taste left from when I started riding street bikes back in the early 90s. HD riders were mostly Boomer assholes who looked down on me for my first bike being an 800cc Intruder, because that's what I could afford. Being alienated simply because the bike I could afford wasn't HD resulted in prolonged bullying and literal abuse. I ride year round, I don't own an F-150, or a trailer, and I don't give a damn what you ride so long as you are poking a hole in the wind with your knees in the breeze.
Regardless of where HD culture may be currently, I was never accepted as a "Real Biker" even though I ride Every Damned Day come rain or shine.
There is a legitimate cultural issue of elitism and bigotry within the biker and hobbyist motorcyclist community that needs to be addressed.
Politics aside, we need to close the divide and bring an end to the classism still prevalent between HD riders and non-HD riders.
Whether you are wearing a three-piece cut, an HOG patch, or just an enthusiast, we are all in this together.
Keep the shiny side up brother

Outsourcing production of revmax bikes is the straw that broke the camel’s back. For me at least. Unless they knock off $10, 000 it’s a huge money grab.

DO NOT stop the pressure now. CEO/BOard who want this DEI/WOKE still in power. This temporary change cannot be enough!!!! They need to be replaced with REAL HARLEY people. AND they are still shipping jobs overseas.

As always said. Everyone can do whatever with their business. And you can do whatever you want with your wallet.
Dont like something? Dont support it, Dont buy from them. Is that simple.

I'm from the UK, although I now live in Poland. I used to look down on the changes in political discourse and consider myself above them. Unfortunately while I was doing so, our politics altered to the point where the demographic makeup of the country is being radically changed by mass immigration, equal treatment under law is a thing of the past, Britain now has de facto blasphemy laws, and thousands of people are now in jail for social media posts - and it's all been done by the DEI fellow travellers.

I hate having to care about politics. But if "Freedom, baby" matters to you like it does to me, insoucience isn’t an option anymore.

A company should not attempt to push their ideas and political views on its customer base.

I am with you. I really care about affordable products, and Harley has none these days.

I am still not buying from HD dealer. Not because of DEI, had enough of that at my own workplace. But mostly because of big shiny dealer experience. Went to my local HD few times. Always same thing. Low-ball on trade and upsell. Thanks, but no thanks.
