Those are nice but not persistent so it's painful to setup them every time (re) opening vs code

Is there a way the terminal settings persist after a restart?

So cute when Microsoft gives advice about terminals 😂

That feeling when you setup the prod env in the terminal labelled dev by mistake 🙈

Would be nice but you cant save them to open on starup so it's more a waste of time

While I like and use it, making them persistent would actually be useful, like a workspace setting

Bring back the drop down terminal selector. I hate having a huge chunk of the label taken up, usually with terminals where output is long and I don't want to see word wrapped technical text

it actually works, but i'm always too lazy to rename the terminals

Pro Tip for anyone who doesn't like using built in terminals...
You can do the same thing with tmux

This is great for when you’re running a Node project which occupies the terminal but you need to keep making git commits so you have to open another. Thanks!

Now if only the Ctrl+` shortcut to bring up the terminal worked consistently. It only works like half the time, and this problem has existed for a long time. Weirdly enough, Ctrl+Shift+`, to open a new terminal, always works.
