Awesome! Thanks! I sell a lot of shoes and I don’t like cleaning them but I won’t sell dirty shoes. For white sneakers I place them in a zip up laundry bag and wash them with laundry detergent and bleach. (Don’t suggest this if you have a washer with an agitator ) Also for patent leather, rubbing alcohol will take off the scuffs very easily. I’ve enjoyed watching your reselling videos. 🩱

Thank you for this! I just started looking at shoes at thrift stores. I see a lot of new/gently used great shoes (brands like Clarks/Toms/Converse, etc) but they tend to be priced at $12 or more and so I feel like to clean them up and picture and list them isn’t worth it. If the they were under $6.00 a pair it would be more worth it to me. What has your experience been? Maybe shoes are cheaper where you live. I am sure getting frustrated with how pricey thrift stores have gotten.

I use dishwashing liquid soap to clean the mid-soles and the bottom soles of the shoes because most of the dark stain is grease or oil.

Magic Eraser works on the white parts of shoes and any rubber shoes, like Crocs, to get rid of black stains.

Great video. Good idea on dipping the soul of the shoe in the water. It’s much easier and the rest of the shoe won’t get wet. 👍
