Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 Service Indicator Reset

This video is the step-by-step process that I follow to reset the service indicator on my 2009 Mercedes C300. This works great if you do your own maintenance. This process should work for any W204 (2008-2011, C300, C350, and C63).

Step-by-step Instructions:
Get into the driver seat.
Close all of the doors.
Insert the key into the ignition.
Turn the key into Position 1.
The following steps will be done on the steering wheel:
Press "OK" if there are any indicators, making sure your Odometer is displayed on the cluster.
Press and hold the Call button.
Just after pressing the Call button, press and hold the "OK" button.
Press the down arrow until you are highlighted on "ASSYST PLUS", then press "OK".
Press the down arrow until you are highlighted on "Full Service", then press "OK".
Press the down arrow until you are highlighted on "Conf. Full Service", then press "OK".
Press the down arrow until you are highlighted on "Yes", then press "OK".
Press the down arrow until you are highlighted on "Confirm", then press "OK".

I am glad this is helping so many people and I am sorry that I am not able to help everyone. I wish I could answer more of your questions but unfortunately I am not a MB mechanic and have since sold my C300. I learned this method from doing lots of research and making friends with MB mechanics. I definitely plan on buying another C300 in the future. It just didn't make sense at this point in my life.

Door has to be shut and key turned to first position, do not turn vehicle on all the way. First position is first click when you turn key, then do everything the video says to do it works great

This is a very helpful tip. I wish I had found it a while ago. My regular garage charged me for a merc service but could not reset the service light. Sometimes I wonder what I get when the bill is paid.
