Switch cams at 4600rpm and you will get much flatter curve.

203hp or 151kw is about stock for a vvl though. Solid numbers, but friend of mine in South Africa is running around 220kw on a sr20ve

Hello it's me again. So mydad and I are looking to do a project and we wanna do sr20ve swap with a gearbox. I'm only 11 so correct me if I am wrong. I am using the only knowledge that I have about engines. I've heard rumours that the sr20ve came with a automatic from factory?? And so people used sr16/18/20de boxes with their flywheel and harness I believe on the 20ve.


I need advice on the gearboxes and which one we should use!!! All these people in my country tryna scam us offering us sr18 boxes for like 1000 and we might end up in crap.

Any advice would seriously help. Thank you
