Trying to get your Airbus setup from a switched off cold and dark state? Here is a tutorial for you!

I am a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the new detailed simulation of the longest baby 'bus by Toliss as well as the new MSFS a320 NEO. Hopefully you find this useful and it brings another perspective to your simulation. Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

I want to say how thankful I am for this channel. The amount of depth you go in has really given me the confidence to fly the a320 on my own. I want to play as real as possible since it is unlikely that I will become a commercial pilot but with your videos, I feel that I can at least live out my dream on MSFS 2020 as close to real-life as possible. I would love to see more. Thanks again! From South Carolina!

Thanks as always for the detailed and amazing video! This was helpful in trying to switch over from Boeing to Airbus.

In the cockpit preparation checklist, each menu is actually a drop down menu. If you click on it it will pull up all the steps of that checklist

I watched this tutorial 6 months ago to learn what I need to do to power up the A320. I just watched it again, and learned why I need to do it. Thank you for the useful and entertaining tutorials.

Thanks for the great help. Would love to see a similar non-tutorial version but simulating (as much as is possible) the full flow of startup, radio / comms to crew etc right up to take off, all done by a pro!

Well done video! thankyou!, , been flying the Zibo 737 and trying to transition over to the A320...very different in its own way. Appreciate learning from a pilot that actually flies this.

Love your tutorial series! Could you please do more tutorials based on the different stage of flights such as takeoff, enroute, descent, approach, landing, etc? Also an ILS tutorial would be great too.

My heart always skips a beat when I see you departing or landing in Austria. After watching dozens of your videos I finally downloaded FS2020 and flybywire, and flew from Klagenfurt to Berlin. (which I do on my return of visiting my family, usually via VIE, and a lot of delays 🤣)

Thank you. Great stuff as always; very informative. It should be pointed out that you missed a good chunk of the cockpit prep checklist because you didn't scroll up to the top before clicking. The glare shield group is usually what seems to be the top for me and I always have to catch myself because it isn't the start of the checklist. It is a stupid bug. Anyway, the overhead panel flow that you did when "checking for white lights" comprises many of the items that you missed in the cockpit prep checklist. IIRC, what you missed are the RMP checks. There is an item to check SEL off. In the mod, the SEL light is on, so I've been curious as to whether the checklist or the modelling is wrong--as well as what the SEL light actually means.

Also, the checklist groups need to be expanded (by clicking) to see the individual checklist items. I'm assuming you knew that, but it might be worth calling out to your audience.

The second dial for the weather dial
Was clutch. I could never figure out why my weather display wasn’t showing when I did cold and dark startups.
