The same station that made me wait hours to file a police report about a car accident then I left and lost my claim

If only Chesa Boudin would get this excited for pressing charges against your typical criminals

This really sucks. No one and I mean NO ONE hates crooked cops more than honest police officers. I hope they are right that the evidence will prove the two officers weren't being dishonest and lied, however, I found it very unlikely. As an officer you can make mistakes, nearly be involved in a bad shooting and you'll most likely keep your job but if you lie about the slightest issue then you should and will be terminated. You can ask your average thief or druggy (often one in the same) what they do and they'll be upfront and explain they're desperate for drugs, etc., and steal to pay for it but a cop that lies behind the badge is the lowest of lowest and should be terminated and not be hired by another agency.

So 1 year from now what happened to them? Did they get convicted or did they get let go?

This is just a basic HR level self protection measure. Doesn't mean anything "good"

So what?! They destroyed evidence. Boobdin probably wasn't going to file charges against the suspect who was caught with it anyway. Another witch hunt by Boobdin. The idiot who stole the gun deserves his charges.

Wow, Internal Affairs actually found two of their own guilty. That's a shocker. HOWEVER, purposely destroying evidence by an officer should automatically be a felony not a misdemeanor. That would make the think twice before pocketing, I mean, flushing drugs.

Good job officers for arresting you’re own kind. Well done

"what happened to that crystal meth? uh...we....uh flushed it down the toilet! yeah, that's it....that's the ticket...."

Why do cops have these kinds of weapons are they at war with the people?

It's easier to say that they flushed the drugs than it was to get another charge for either using the drugs themselves in one capacity or another; Wich is what is more believable...

What a dummy.. He could have just bought his own sks or AR and converted it to fully. No other police would dry fire or field strip to check it.. This was plain stupidity. Good riddance

See everyone, Chesa Boudin does press charges against criminals. Unfortunately its not the criminals we all have to deal with often.

In other news, the SF police are having trouble recruiting enough officers.
