Welcome to the Forgotten CCGs, where we talk about older, dead CCGs. In this series I let you know the history, rules, and information about a CCG that came out many years ago. I take a look at the worst collectable card game ever made, Super Deck. This superhero themed game was little more then a game of math, where one adds, subtracts and multiplies numbers until their two stacks are ten higher than their opponents. With a few other problems I will talk about, It is fairly universally agreed to be the worst collectable card game ever.

Oh, nostalgia for my days working in a comic shop during the overlapping speculator and CCG booms. Now it's 2020 and I'm still waiting for the Super-Rigid Man comic book to come out. Thanks for this awful reminder of an awful game. :)

I know this may be a little late, but the system can be rather fun, theme really doesn't matter, but it was fun to do with friends when we are short on time, and the game may be fun or useful for children as well. I have played it and its refreshing for the cards to have singular values and uses rather than many newer CCG with up to 6 different values and uses per card, making a simple game to play when bored. All CCG are about math when you get down to it, Super Deck was just nice to be simpler.

Worst card game? Oh, come on! I've played _way_ worse than this. Like... Um... Well, for example...

No... No, that one was pretty good.

Okay. You win. This one was pretty bad. ;-) I used to own about 100 cards for this game. I have zero recollection as to what I did with them. IIRC, I dropped them off at a local hobby shop, and told them to give them to someone who might be interested. I think.

nice video, although the game itself looks lame XD the early days of CCG history are hilarious, some games (MtG, Illuminati, VTES) were amazing. and then there is dross like this or Spellfire XD
