I'm sure you've heard of black holes, maybe even quasars, but have you ever heard of a blazar? Let's find out exactly what they are!

Disney made a movie about a massive black hole in 1979. The movie was dark and eerie, but also hauntingly beautiful.

Technically Godzilla in space without it been a giant lizard, sounds like something to me

I did not think at any point that a blazar was a quasar who hung out with Snoop Dog.

It's a flashlight with a quadrillion to the quintrillionth power luminosity! Basically a galactic sized super plasma cannon! I fuggin want 2 of them!

So basically the most luminous object in the universe is also a black hole.🤔

Earth has those huge round openings at North and South poles. Even some if not all of the other planets have this big round opening too. Just go onto Google earth and look at the marble and spin it to Antarctica. There you will see big massive huge circle. I can't say what exactly this really is but since both poles have it just maybe our earth blows stuff out of ITS

Eric Andre said that he is "bluish",
meaning "black and jewish". 😂
It's as redundant a definition as a quasar that is pointed at Earth.

How about we start naming all astronomical bodies by their orientation? Stars that are moving directly towards our solar system, galaxies that are at a 90 degree angle towards us?... The stars would be "blars" and the galaxies would be "blalaxies"... redundant and silly.

I didn't know this but am happy to learn

When my wife was young, many moons ago, she wrote a paper on black holes. The Title was: "Black Holes Have No Hair". Seriously!!! Her teacher didn't find it amusing. I think she dinked on her paper.😂

I have a question. Are stars technically infinite? Imagine if a star dies and becomes a black hole. It sucks up all matter around it and spews a gas trail. If it's space is finite when it fills enough and compresses enough hydrogen and helium could it technically explode and be reborn as a star? Learning that the way we see them is from gas trails sparked my thoughts on this. The larger the star was the larger the black hole. Which would explain why in the center of galaxies there are super massive black holes. I know that's a lot but if anyone would chime in it would be awesome.

A gun pointed at the head of the universe.

Bro you hyped it up just to let everyone know it was the same this. The only difference is it’s pointed at us so quasar and blazars are at both the 2nd strongest objects in the universe

Are there actually any blazars out there and if so, which?

Not all pulsars are black holes, many are neutron stars. All quasars and blasars are black holes.
