Pierre-Marie Robitaille, Ph.D., was a professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University from 1989-2019, and also held an appointment in the Chemical Physics Program. In 1998, he led the design and assembly of the world’s first Ultra High Field MRI System. Readings from this equipment brought into question fundamental aspects of modern thermal physics, such as Kirchhoff’s Law of thermal emission.

I couldn’t understand how a black body spectrum can be produced by a gaseous plasma where photons are emitted by electrons transitioning between orbitals. I asked a physicist & he gave a very complicated explanation about how it involves a complex calculation involving relativistic effects, photons being absorbed and re-emitted & at least one other phenomenon. The explanation explained nothing. I was none the wiser. Unzicker’s video on the other hand was illuminating. This theory seems to have much better explanatory power of at least this phenomenon.
