Used to do this with my arms, straight out. Called flagpole in gymnastics. Never saw it with the legs though. Tons of core and grip strength while top arm/leg is pulling and bottom is pushing. Respect to this guy. He put in alot of work and very creative.

The shoes look like the ones for people who build a house in Japan.
They do things up high, so the tip of the shoes are separated from the toe and other fingers to have more grip, and the bottom side of the shoes are made of rubber. It is called "Jika-tabi".
