I took awhile to get to my answer so I’ll leave the short one here. Yes it was worth it (for me). The truth is you have to find out if it’s worth it for you. The PC gaming experience is 10x better than what a console can provide. This obviously depends on how powerful your computer is and what you plan on playing. At the end of the day it’s all personal preference. Sub up if you’re new and like the video. 🤌🏼

I played A LOT of Elder Scrolls Online on xbox... played until the week of Morrowind then I kinda stepped away and now I really really want to get back into this game on pc. I just dont think I want to spend all the money and put all the time back into this game... but MAN I want to play this again 😂

as it's all server based, i have no idea whey they don't offer transfer, it would'nt be that hard to implement. I played 2000 odd hours on PS4, wouldn't mind going back but on PC, not gonna start from scratch. So they have lost a sale, dlc and all that.

It is absolutely asinine that any game on multiple platforms do not support cross progression/cross saves in the current era. There are VERY VERY few games where i dont really mind starting over and MMOs are NOT any of them. I've thought of switching from PS to PC mostly because of the Microsoft buyout of zenimax. I refuse to give them extra money when they don't have even this simple feature. YES it IS a SIMPLE feature. I've been able to do cross save with FF14 for YEARS. ESO has zero excuse.

Yo, you know what's funny I was looking through yt the other day and I searched you up i.e khyleo and there was nothing so I thought you had quit for ever lol and then I now just come across your vid, nice to see you still going, I got rid of my playstation and got a series x, I downloaded eso about 4 months ago reluctantly because I was aware of starting all over but now I'm like 840 cp have a tone of traits researched some decent gear got 3 chars fully leveled and a couple waiting to level, it did suck but tbh I found it so much more fun than on my original server, I didn't know anyone they didn't know me lol I was wiping folk at 300cp and I had som many messages asking if I was a transfer etc, but it gave it a new lease of life, the only issue is I went Xbox EU and it's a bad server as far as population so that's the biggest negative, I'd love to have gone pc but far to costly for me.

Sucks you cant transfer your account from console to PC. I played a good amount back in the day on Xbox. Guess i'll be starting from scratch!

I agree if you want the best of this game for awhile Id recommend switching. However as mentioned in the video it can be expensive, less time = more money needed to get where you want faster, less money means more time needs to be invested so keep that in mind. My biggest thing however is the PC. Lets not kid ourselves, ESOs performance optimization hardware wise isnt the greatest, their game might be running decent server wise (at least on PC) but ESO is still a pretty performance demanding game. Which brings me to me point I always tell people, DO NOT SKIMP ON YOUR PC, it doesent need to be 5k but at the same time 500 isnt gonna do much for you either. If you skimp on your PC or laptop whichever you end up using then the framerates youll get especially in high player areas like PvP when fighting zergs and ball groups will not be good, you might as well be back on PS4 or Xbox1 with how bad it can get. Try to get something that maybe isnt the best but is decent for present current computer specs, and also something that will last you a few years before you really have to upgrade parts. A few years is more then enough time for you to consider whether or not youll want to upgrade your computer parts to continue playing ESO. Plus if ESO isnt something you end up sticking with you still have a decent computer to pursue other games with decent performance on almost all of them. Do what you can afford, but be patient if you need to wait another 2 paychecks to get something favorable then do so. Also graphically ESO isnt very stunning even on high so you can get away with most settings on medium and low and maybe a few select ones on high to keep the game looking ok while increasing performance or at least getting a desired framerate, because of this, if your building a PC and are able to select individual parts Id recommend focusing more on CPU and RAM being your higher end parts in the computer, if you can get a nice GPU too more power to ya but if not an average or slightly above average GPU with some in game settings being tweaked should work just fine. Make sure your fans are on a decent RPM while playing as ESO is quite a load to run and your parts will heat up quick so run the fans at a decent pace so youre not smelting the parts you just dropped good money on.

By far the worst part of transferring from console to PC,
is that on Xbox EU, 100 gold buys 1 crown... so 500k gold for 5k crowns.
On PC, it's 3x-4x lower value, due to way more bot farmers. So 300g-400g buys you 1 crown. 1.5M-2Million gold buys you 5k crowns.
Making it much easier & better value to collect crown crate mounts on console. Since ZOS sells the same number of crowns for the same $/£ between platforms.

I have like 6 characters maxed all geared tones of money 2000 cp and I’m suppose to start over? A lot of the leveling I did when Halloween xp boost came around this will take way longer then 2 months lol

I'd love to transfer to PC, especially since I just built one. Sadly, I've simply put far too much time and money to my eso account on xbox. II really do hope they allow account transfers in the future.

I guess I'm finally taking the plunge. I know characters ect are not transferrable, but do you have to purchase the effin game again? I'm getting mixed info online about whether you can download the software.

I’m not far into the game, only CP 250 and I don’t think I’ve even finished the main quest line. But I can’t bring myself to switch. I play on a 75in tv and love it. I wanna switch but I have some cosmetics I got lucky with and haven’t seen come around again. Just don’t wanna switch but the add ons are so nice. I just don’t have a lot of time to restart even though I’m not far into the game. do I keep playing ps5 and then never switch or bite the bullet at CP 250 and lose all my cool gear to play pc

I have so much shit on ps4, I spent alot of money there... I really want to transfer my account... I want to return to the game but I'm hoping that one day it will be possible to transfer. I think it won't but I hope it will.
