I was recently invited to a new D&D game and decided to go 90 degrees in the opposite direction of my other characters speaking with the new DM I chose to go with a Rogue/Samurai still working on it. Would make a cool Mini

I know this video is before MotM, but Orc from MotM makes a great melee samurai. I am playing as a 10th level samurai orc from MotM, stats are:
Str 9
Dex 14
Con 16
Int 12
Wisdom 18
Charisma 12
With those stats I am using magic initiate for Shillelagh and longstrider. Eldritch Adept for Fiendish Vigor. And resilient dexterity for proficiency with the big 3 saving throws (con, Dex and wis).

This character will always start combat with temporary HP, and be able to gain temporary HP through the bonus actions (dash/fighting spirit), meaning it can be really tanky.

(Also rapid strikes is like turning one of your attacks with advantage into two attacks without, you still roll 2 dice with it, always use it because you have a chance of hitting twice.)
