In this video, I explain the top reasons that would make Artificial intelligence jobs not a good choice for you.

Artificial Intelligence jobs include roles like Machine learning Engineer, Deep Learning Engineer, Computer Vision Engineer, etc. In this video i discuss why you should not learn AI.

I am a computer vision engineer at Awiros and i personally was not aware of some of the ground realities, which I only discovered later. I hope to have cleared some of the misconceptions around this field through this video.

What are the math prerequisites? I have a bachelors in computer science, but I got it 20 years ago and havent used any of that math to any serious degree since. I’m about to finally start on a masters in computer science, so I’ll need to do some hardcore math review anyway. What should I focus on specifically if I wanted to specialize in AI? Discrete? Stats? Calculus?

I think you have nailed what I was thinking but if I where to go for a master's. What degree would you recommend? A mathematics degree or some type of programming degree. I was think mathematics but I have already graduated with a programming degree and am doing lite AI stuff but mostly front-end development as I am a recent college grad.

Best thing right now is to learn AI as a side Hustle and inside of going for AI engineering roles in companies, make your own startup. Believe me AI is the new electricity and it is our job to implement it in every field possible to reduce human effort.

Great points! personally I just to want to have some good understanding of this so I can apply it to other fields. After all, we'd have focus in one area that we can actually master, AI is too general and every industry has its specifics.

Based on my experience AI on it's own is not feasible as whatever AI you implement is an implementation on top of another field as supplement
