I bought one of those a month or so ago to replace the smaller one. I made a DIY metal lid for mine, not the prettiest thing but it works. I'm glad you change camera angles because I kept eyeing that sexy truck in the background. I love my Frontier.

Things I like: The Compact's broader base and lower height make for a more stable pot compared to the Adventure, especially for those using a pocket rocket type canister stove. The lid can be used on both the inner cup and the pan on a stove (but won't survive cooking on an open fire). Handle is solid and locks as it should, the steel casing flexes a bit but seems sturdy enough. It's plenty big enough to pack my Kovea Spider stove under the spork (jury is still out on whether that's worth keeping).

Things I don't like: lid can't be used on an open fire; no means of suspending the pot over a fire; the markings inside the cup are too small and hard to see even in bright daylight. After a while and some practice it's better and quicker to judge liquid quantities by eye.

My husband and I have those SWEET cook kits.
It's not just for coffee or reheating dehydrated foods...
Nope, You CAN DO "REAL COOKING" in them !!
You can even deep fry fresh French Fries or deep fry a HALF of a FRESH CHICKEN BREAST in it!
There's very little you can't cook in them, seriously! We take them with us on our all day fishing trips. We start out early mornings. Fish till around11:00 AM then use our cook sets to cook our lunches while waiting for the fish to start biting (after the heat of the afternoon ends) again.
The KEY TO SUCCESS is SIZE CONTROL.
Once you have that part down pat then the sky is pretty much the limit!
🔥IMPORTANT NOTE🔥:
If you do want to cook fresh fried foods be certain to use a LARGE TEA STRAINER AS A SPLATTER GUARD !!

Very good foe a ultralight pack. But as for me, the two cup set is preferable.
