Once the Samsung Magician software has been installed and opened, look for the data management section on the left-hand side. You will find an entry called "Secure Erase". There you have to select the drive you want to erase. You now have to create a bootable USB drive to do just that. Please note that the USB drive will be formatted in the process and all previous data will be lost.

After the successful creation of the USB drive, boot from it. If it does not automatically, change the boot priority in your BIOS. You can access the BIOS by hitting either F2, F8, F9, F12 or the delete key and swap the current device for the USB drive. Consult your mainboard manual for further instructions. Simply safe and exit and wait for the bootable USB drive to do it's magic. You will now see a couple of warnings which will remind you that all data will be lost on the selected Samsung SSD drive. Press Y to accept the disclaimer to proceed formatting your SSD.

Hi. I have the only one SSD with my Windows on it.
Can I erase it with the Magician and then just easily reinstall the Windows from my bootable USB flash drive?

How do I do the secure eraser process for M.2? I doubt they intend for you to unscrew and remove it from the board like the Bootable Erase Utility says to.

QUESTION: How do you create this "Bootable USB Drive?"

If running it on OS, it will still work?

I can't get out of the bootable usb mode. I think this process worked the first time, but instead of rebooting into windows it took me back to having me to select a disk to erase.

I can't restart or do anything but to try and erase a disk again. Then get an error about the disk being in a frozen state, and loop restarts. It's drivning me mad.

All I want to do id restart and get into windows again, but don't know how. Can't get into bios, because it only responds to this stuck process. Preety please help, anyone? 😭

The software tells me that my ssd isn’t supported to do anything. My ssd has something already installed on it. It’s like a retro gaming system that contains every single old game. But I don’t play them and I just wanna erase everything so I can sell it.
