Oh, for crying out loud! Those officers were way too patient with this goofball for way too long! The officer that came in at the end who said, “no, she needs to be arrested and taken to the hospital and not taken home and left by herself because of the state she’s in”, was the only one with a lick of sense. Someone that drunk or hopped up on drugs cannot be just left to their own devices. Lord knows what could have happened. I’ve seen plenty of these types of videos where someone in her situation gets taken straight into custody. But those officers were falling all over themselves trying to kiss her butt just because her step daddy is a chief of police? This was ridiculous! Like I said, I’m just glad that stronger, no nonsense officer came in at the end and knew what needed to be done. Sheesh!

She definitely has problems beyond alcohol.Probably mixed her meds with alcohol.Though cops were very patient, I think they recognized she was unstable and waited to assess the situation.

My dad was in Vietnam, and I've never acted like this. Then again, I've never drank more than a few drinks at a time in my early 20s and haven't had anything to drink in over 25 years. Mostly because my dad was an alcoholic and I never wanted to be seen doing anything like this or not being able to make sense. The only good thing my dad ever did was being a drunk because it kept me from being one.

I see a lot of people saying drugs must he involved but this very well could just be alcohol. My mother was a drunk like this. Belligerent, irrational, and sloppy.

Eric Dobmeier, I agree with you! Those policemen let her take control of the situation, which was dangerous. She could have run out in front of a car or fallen. They kept saying the same things over and over. "This is the last chance." They kept giving her chances. Trying to reason with an unreasonable person. Useless.
