CATL is working on faster charging batteries for Tesla as Elon Musk’s automaker seeks to defend its market share and roll out an electric car for under $25,000, Robin Zeng, the billionaire chairman of the world’s biggest battery maker, said in a wide-ranging interview with Bloomberg News in Hong Kong on Monday. tesla buys batteries from panasonic, lg, byd and catl and well as make their own. What other company is a more resilient battery supply chain? Also many more 4680 production lines are being put into production in austin. Just wait a few more months you will see.
