I remembered my INTP used-to-be-friend 😂 At that time he said bad stuff about people in his family (stupid, useless…), and I tried to convince him “then avoid them. Why do you need to invest your emotion to them?” He said sth like “but they are bad guys, because abc xyz.” I couldn’t convince him so I just let him be and hoped him could deal with his hatred. Then 1 year later, he said that I did betray him. But it turned out that it’s just him assumed things that I didn’t even do. Sure, I never could convince him anything from beginning. He only believed he wanted to believe. Of course I cut out that friendship. I was sorry for his mental illness but it’s not an excuse that he could do whatever he wanted. He still owe me ~200 usd at that time 😂

I'd rather take this kind of loss over logical fallacies and manipulation every time. A lot of people in my local native place would default to ad hominem and circular reasoning, or overgeneralization and other logical fallacies. For some reason, ad hominem is the one I encountered or saw happening the most.
Some couldn't give a reply without some way of insulting or demeaning me when their reasoning process is challenged.
If they just said they feel like it, it would be easier to accept as logic and feelings are two different aspects.
Practicality is also more acceptable than fallacies and manipulation.

as an ex-intj i feel that intps are smarter because they are just like intjs but with better people skills, more efficiently analytical, better at balancing emotions and common sense, have an awesome balance of logic and creativity in their decisions and are less rigid and more spontaneous - intps are 95 % sigma
