Coyote Swapped 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback

Typically we're showing pretty radical custom built vehicles which we love. But we also have appreciation for simple, well built vehicles that are built to drive. This car is built to drive. With the engine, transmission & rear end from a 2014 Mustang and a few other items, this car is just a blast to drive.
Enjoy!

With the curb weight of a 1967 being almost a 1000Lbs less than a modern GT AND with the newish Coyote motor- That weight to power ratio will hurt a lot of egos.

I like that build. It's not overdone, it's subtle and clean.

Finally a Coyote swap classic that doesn't have wheels that make it look like a giant Hotwheel. Seems like 17" is the rim size limit on looking good in those old wheel wells.

I'd take that over a new one any day.

The '67s and '68s were the best-looking Mustangs I feel they ever made. This looks incredible.

It has the charm of an old Mustang, with drive-ability of a new Mustang!

Rich kids get the lambo, a man’s man gets this green machine

This might be the ultimate Mustang build. Simple. Clean. Classic lines meet modern muscle. Nicely done.

Best of both worlds. Modern components. Classic looks. Lovely

Definitely one of my absolute favourite build's, on any channel. So clean and simple.

“All simple, subtle stuff.” And very capable with 6-speed and tight suspension. That faded black plate! Things ready for a fight! Very nice!

Car looks tremendous. A restomod without it being over the top. Speechless. The passenger could not wipe the smile off his face.

Seeing a lot of these early fastback coyote swaps, I need to build one.

Excellent combination of old and new, classic appeal with modern components. Highly desirable!

I love that it sounds like a pushrod motor in this car with the mufflers mounted mid-way like that, sounds more old school, this is a build I wish I could do some day.

Excellent execution of classic and modern elements coming together without getting ridiculous!

Sound/stance/power/gauge pack/six speed/American Racing wheels/paint/Two piston brakes are all perfection to me. AND it is a ‘67 with clean quarter panels. I prefer to the ‘68. Love it. Thanks for the ride Autotopia. Time well spent.

I love the coyote engine's steady idle. That makes it sound very high end!!!

I just picked up my late brother-in-law’s 67 fastback from his garage. It’s been parked for over 36 years. The car is in excellent condition considering its been parked that long. She’s completely stock. 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed trans and 4 wheel drum brakes. I don’t have a plan for her just yet but I will soon!

"Hold on man, 'cause here we go!" What an awesome clean build. I love fastbacks, specially in that green!
