Giant Hornet and Wax Moth Infestation

One autumn day, my Japanese honeybees (Apis cerana japonica) were attacked by a Giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia). When I opened the hive, there were no honeybees inside, and it had become a nest for Wax moths (Galleria mellonella).

Снаружи улья пчёл подстерегают шершни! Внутри улья, среди тех же пчёл, тоже какая-то пятая колонна.

You sure didn't take care of your hives well at all. Checking on the hive more frequently could have prevented the total collapse. 😢😢😢 🐝 😢😢😢😢😢
