Don’t you just hate it when you do an essay on history and then get a bad grade for not doing the actual assignment? Ughhhh, just gave me points that I don’t deserve!!!

The way my professor put it is perfect. You get graded on the understanding of the material you are taught, not the amount of work you put in. You don’t get paid to stand around and do nothing at work, you get paid to do your job at work

Whoa. I'm an HS English teacher, and I have had conversations very similar to this. I can literally think of quite a few students using exactly that tone and modulation of voice.

My favorite history teacher often said he was "scared for the future" I always thought he was exaggerating but after watching some of these i have decided it wasn't a joke.

Our teachers never let us redo or turn in late anything. This teacher is an angel.

there was a student in one of my college classes who did something like this. the class is regarded as one of the hardest in my major, and the final was definitely tough. there was a question asking us to write a recursive algorithm to sort an array in a very specific way. The prompt was clear as it gave an initial unsorted example as well as what it would look like sorted. This student decided to slightly change the question - im sure unconsciously out of a lack of understanding the original - and got VERY mad at the professor when he earned 3/20 points (it was a 100 point final). lets just say that the exchange between him and the professor was very amusing to watch.

I’ve used the “It was so hard to find any I formation on it though.” Excuse before, except my essay was on a Chinese queen who, right after she died, all of her involvement with China was promptly destroyed, hidden away, and basically erased from history. Oh, and I forgot to mention I had to find a primary source... of a queen... who was erased from her countries history.

My mom is a teacher so sometimes I help her read through and grade papers. Kids turn in some of the weirdest things. There was an essay on To Kill a Mockingbird. One student just turned in a copy of the Declaration of independence

These videos make me miss being in high school, well, school in general, i dropped out of uni and I'm planning on going to trade school next year, but man i miss being younger and in middle/high school. I really wish i would've enjoyed it instead of letting it pass by and not experiencing it in better light.
