HI good TO see you again! last autumn I panted several cuttings, but only one survived, and now bath in Turkish everyday sunlight, it grows quickly, as I measured, every day the little tree can grow 1 cm. Now it is more than 1.6m. Also, this year I grow many cuttings in spring and 2two of them survived, It's amazing! I tried many ways of planting from cutting, putting in water and in sand everything, the most successful way is trying not to plant in a pot, maybe I can not control the how much water or another aspect, I think in turkey the best way is when the cutting showing little roots and leaves just dig a hole in ground and plant in the ground and cover a plastic cap on it for 1 week. they will flourish. Now autumn is coming, I cut a dozen fig cuttings and put them in bottles and waiting their rooting.

Entering the contest from my hotel room, as I have evacuated from New Orleans for hurricane Ida. Wish me luck not only for the contest, but that my house is still there when I get back and that my garden stays safe. lol

Thanks for all you do in the fig/garden community!!

Yas! Entered all the way from Viva Las Vegas, what a great idea. Your videos are so well formed and put together. This is my 1st year growing figs in the desert and your fertilization tips have made my cuttings and trees all produce this year!

Super cool! I had three numbers come to mind but went with the first to pop in my head. All your fruit trees look wonderful. I'm in TN and can have hard winters. My figs do ok, they're planted in ground, but my citrus need to come inside. Take care =)

Nice, I can't have a fig tree in ground because my dad says the plants are worse than rootstock grapes because they will spread like an invasive plant here, I even found them under a huge pine tree or in pot because the large pots are supposed to be used like raised beds for vegetables so there no chance I can put even the smallest fig tree
