Thanks. I had thought that axiology was just another word for aesthetics. It's interesting that the study of goodness and beauty are lumped into one category away from ontology and epistemology where we are supposed to be able to make more certain determinations via the scientific method. Truth, goodness, and beauty should all share equal privilege, but lately it seems everyone is after truth or trying to find justifications for what they consider to be the truth.

Curious language people will note the word "Axe", one of the first coveted human tools originating concurrently with human language is the Greek word for "value".
