Known Mexican mafia member Michael Torres killed in Folsom prison stabbing

An inmate and known member of a Mexican gang at California State Prison, Sacramento died after prison officials said he was stabbed by two other inmates. A release from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said that 59-year-old Michael Torres was attacked at 9:23 a.m. by Juan and Ray Martinez. Torres was taken to an outside medical facility, where he died about an hour later at 10:30 a.m.
