Always listen with headphones in case you are lifting the noise floor. Enjoyed the video. TQ

I know you said "just go over all these settings" but the manual piece of setting up -6db is pretty important so people should be aware of that first, before @4:29

Hey good stuff. But there is a reason why you set camera to 1-click up on the audio. It's about keeping camera (AGC) noise floor down, you -make up gain with the transmitter by raising the audio up to desire dBs on camera. Hope that makes sense. ac

Thank you so much, I have been having the same problem with the audio being too low when the camera audio setting at "1." I'm going to bump mine up and that should help. I really appreciate this video!

IMO I would adjust the gain on the receiver and not the Camera! Set it to 1 to make sure that you're not relying on the camera's pre-amps and you're getting the most ouf ot the mics! Setting the camera audio above 1 raises the noise floor. That's the reason they say 1 for Sony cameras.

Thank you very much for the video. You already have a new subscriber. You can make a video using the settings on the iPhone.?

Hi, thanks for sharing. Much appreciated. I have question, if you set your camera to 2 for example is it possible to increase the gain on the receiver until you get the levels you need in camera ie. between -12 and -3db? I am considering upgrading my Wireless Go II's to the Pros, as I am guessing the above method would be possible without introducing any white noise. With the Go II the maximum I can set the gain to is 9db (-3db max) before white noise becomes a problem and on the camera the limit is about 5.

do you recommend to keep setting on manual instead of auto when using with FX6 ? cause I always get low volume signal...

Great Video but wanted to know how to set the time and date. I can't find it anywhere. My recordings all have year 2000 dates.

How do I make the volume louder? When I listen to playback on my PC, the recording is very low to the point that I have to turn up my speakers.

I also noticed that they were too low. I think it's better to raise the gain in the transmitter, and leave the levels in the camera as low as possible.

Do you have the setup for Sony 6600? What are the gain levels for the RX & TX?

What if I don't use mirrorless camera, what preset should I use? I record mainly on Iphone 14 pro max and my Rode Wireless Pro recordings are too damn low. firmware update is right but, when I open Filmic Pro, I can clearly see my level is set to max but, unless I swallow the mic, the monitoring maxes out around the green bar, it's not even reaching the yellow or the red. Do you have an idea what could be wrong?I've tried Merge & split, gain assist etc nothing seem to work.
