The RME Fireface UCX is an outstanding audio interface with extremely bright pre amps. And RME had that thing built to connect well with the Ipad since way back in 2012. It's a hell of a more expensive option though but it is such a good all around piece of gear with it's drivers and being a hybrid interface.

I just got me an iPad Pro 12.9 first gen. It runs IpadOS 14.4.2 It runs great. Now I know what to do to incorporate it in to my studio.

Thanks for this video. I was wondering how I could hook up my focusrite and midi board and headphone to the new iPad's. I was thinking about getting that I/0 midi board with the interface built in. This is a cheaper and better option.
